BiPolitics is always looking for more contributors to write articles for our website. As a contributor or any other staff position for that matter, you will not receive payment for your work. We strive ourselves on being entirely volunteer driven. In the future, we plan to seek nonprofit status and use our revenue—when we eventually do begin generating it—for things like advertising, new features, and other improvements to BiPolitics.
Our site is a platform that provides an opportunity to politically engaged students to get more involved in politics and improve their writing skills. There are many opportunities for contributors to get more involved once they join BiPolitics. We are beginning to interview politicians, conduct research, and work on other various projects. You can also meet other politically motivated students from across the country through our chat server.
Besides school newspapers or political campaigns (which only come around every couple of years), there are not many ways for younger people to get involved in journalism and politics, which is one of the primary reasons BiPolitics was founded.
Students representing ALL political views are encouraged to apply for our positions. Civil discourse is a key component of democracy and we at BiPolitics believe there is a need for more organizations to encourage that.
